Hey guys my name is like a crystal and if you're here today it means you have questions about this video I wish I had made this video a long time ago I have been answering questions non-stop from that one video I mean I'm not complaining I'm very grateful that a lot of people have viewed that video but also I think it would be smart if I made this video to answer the frequently asked questions so that I don't have to like repeat myself before I start I have taken the liberty to write all the questions and add a time right here so you can go ahead and forward to that one question that you have and if you want to see the whole video anyway then don't forward it okay so I'll start now where do I get the application form I get this question a lot and I will say it again or I will provide the link again below this video I will write this the second question is what is a bank statement first of all I really want to say sorry that I didn't explain this in the last video because I thought that it was like something that everyone has access to but anyway a bank statement is basically just a summary of your transactions your deposits your withdrawals or what you have been doing with the money so you have to provide these three months of the transactions and all that stuff summary blah blah and I hope I answered that like correctly or like properly and I will move on to the next question which I get a lot the third question is what if I don't have a bank statement so there are many ways to prove that you are financially sufficient and I suggest that you provide as many as you can if you don't have a bank statement because that is like their main requirement or the general requirement so if you don't have that then at least try to provide as many of these lists these things in the list as many as you can here list now credit card traveler's checks proof of employment proof of prepaid accommodation proof of prepaid transport payslips also known as pay checks like from your boss you can show that like a scan of that and also you can provide cash but I will answer the next question which is also commonly asked number four how much money do you need in your bank or cash to prove that you're financially sufficient so the answer to this question is not complicated it's rather long tried to answer this as best as I can in every country you actually have a different amount for the daily budget for example you're going to Germany your daily budget there is 45 euros so every single day you need to calculate that if you're staying in Germany for 30 days for the whole like length of stay 30 days times 45 euros times Philippine pesos equals that amount I know this sounds really expensive but it really depends on what country you're going to because some countries have like for example Latvia they only need you to have 14 euros per day like 1 4 euros per day and there's also some countries that don't need a certain amount so the best way to like you know have cash for it is to check the website that I will provide below with this caption here and there you will see like the daily budgets that they need and the logic like behind it or the main reasons behind it and I know it's very like vague ish but I hope this example can give you like a ballpark on how much you need to save for or like how much money you need for travelling number 5 how long does it take like the whole process of being accepted and rejected from the time of the interview to the time that you get your passport back so in the two events that I applied for my Schengen visa I actually got it exactly at 15 working days later there's actually rare cases where it takes two months before it gets returned but it's super super rare so I suggest that you apply 90 days before your travel or if you're sure that you have everything and you won't get rejected then you can apply 15 days before your travel so this is actually I just answered the next question I'll just write the question right here and I kind of just answered it so I'm not gonna re answer it and now I will go on to the next question which is number seven this is quite silly for the people that aren't nervous but like me I was very nervous so I think this question is very important is to interview hard um I want to give you kind of an assurance that when I was interviewed twice I actually had really friendly I think what are they called people from the embassy I don't know I don't know what they were called sorry the people that were interviewing me were quite nice everything that they asked about the interview is actually very opinionated and it's just they just want to make sure that you won't starve there they just want to make sure that you won't like you know have a struggle during the travels because you didn't book a knife somewhere so you're like stranded somewhere or like they just want to make sure that you're gonna be safe during their travels and they just want to make sure that you have good intent and traveling to that country anyway I hope that answered the question it wasn't really that hard but of course yes I was very nervous before the interview but having been interviewed before I wasn't nervous anymore and then again the interview was very easy and very opinionated and was just just relax calm down and don't panic number eight where can I get my travel insurance I will put a link in the description with the title this I'm not gonna say it because I might write some different this is where you can get your Schengen like these travel insurance something very safely and securely I say that because there actually some pages that try to scam people into buying insurance that is it for the Schengen visa it's best to get your insurance from this page because it's very secure the Schengen people actually provided it so I think that's very like awesome number nine I get this question a lot as well I mean that's why this is called frequently asked questions number nine how many months is the insurance covered you actually have the right to choose how long you are covered as long as when you're traveling in Europe for 30 days you have to be covered for 30 days as well you have the choice to like there's actually like options in the insurance page there's like eight days 15 days 20 days 30 days like and so on you get to choose how long your insurance lasts and yeah just make sure that when you're traveling there you are insurance number ten can I apply for the visa from a different country yes you can I have actually done this I am a Philippine passport holder and I applied in America so yes it is fine if you are from Saudi or I don't know how to name other countries anymore but like if you are from a different country yes you can apply for the Schengen visa from that country number eleven how do I find out which embassy I need to apply in so if you're staying in Europe for 30 days if you stay at equal amounts of time you actually get to choose which embassy you're going to apply to and also if you will stay in Europe for 30 days and you will stay in Germany for 20 days then you have to apply in the German embassy number 12 do I need to purchase the ticket before applying for the visa so the answer this is kind of weird they don't recommend you to buy a ticket but at the same time they want you to book a ticket that is free cancellation or refundable so it's kind of like still buying the ticket but you can cancel it if you get rejected so that's the kind of ticket that they ask you to buy so yeah it is kind of like buying but I will provide a link with this like caption under my video the link will tell you how to book it without paying so much like I don't like you just booked it but not fully pay it yet like they do that in some pages and I will provide the link of that here and oh my god it is so hot and yeah I will move on to the next question so if you're wondering why I have different clothes on I actually filmed the video earlier and that I realized I made a mistake in the end so I am correcting it by filming another video and I already threw the shirt in the laundry bin so ok I will continue now the last question is what if I have a sponsor so before I talk about the requirements of a sponsor I want to talk about what the person or what the sponsor is responsible for yeah I will write a list here because I keep making a mistake of what I say so yeah this is the list of the sponsors responsibilities that person has to like you know accept all your financial issues and I don't know other things too and anyway I wanted to do this extra like clip because I want this part to be in detail and if that person is willing to do all of these things then you as an applicant you don't need to do anything else except help the person like fulfill the three requirements that this sponsor has the sponsor has to make an invitation letter now I will go into the specifics of the invitation letter after I say the two other things the passport photocopy like the passport scan and fact to the embassy and a bank statement preferably for the last six months of the sponsors like bank transactions so the invitation letter now I want to talk about that because it needs a lot of specifics the invitation let there needs to contain all of these things in the list I won't say them out loud because I don't memorize them and I'm having trouble saying them all and I think it will take a lot of time if I like you know say them so you can just go ahead and pause the screen and you can read the list and try to include all of these information in the invitation letter and that is all for today I hope that you guys enjoyed this I hope that this video helped you guys and if you have more questions for me I am willing to answer all of them I know I have been bad to other people like I have been really slow at replying but I really do try to reply to everybody and like help with everybody's needs and yeah thank you guys for watching if you have more questions please comment it below and yeah [Music]
